Putting together a great job ad is just the beginning of your efforts to attract and hire high-quality candidates. The problem is, even the best job ads won’t attract great applicants if they’re not published in the right places.
Well-known channels such as LinkedIn and Monster may work great, but they also make big dents in your budget, especially if you hire for lots of roles frequently. However, you can post your job ads for free, using some of the job boards we’ll mention today.
Free = worthless?
We’re led to believe that if something is free, it usually provides little to no value. So, if you post a job ad on a free job board, you’re probably thinking that it won’t make much of a difference. Job boards don’t always make money just from companies posting their open positions – so they can afford to promote your job openings at no cost. Therefore, posting a free job ad on one of these boards can actually be pretty effective, depending on the position.
The list of job boards where you can post your job ad for free
